Last month for my birthday I ordered one skein of A Stash Afficts wonderful rainbow yarn.
Now I am not a yarn snob but this has converted me.
I was stuck as to what to make with this stunning creation I received.
I made a cowl but seriously loved the way it turned out pattern wise but it was to big for my liking so I frogged it.
I searched Ravelry for inspiration but came up blank. Nothing screamed at me.
Yesterday the boys went back to school and I needed a portable project for in the car. So I got out my 4mm knit picks and started a simple shawl.
Iam only knitting this while waiting for the boys after school so it will grow slowly and I haven't decided if its going to be completely garter stitch or if I'm going to do a pretty edge.
I love it and am glad it's housed in the car or I wouldn't be able to stop knitting it!!!

Twitter!
I have had an account for well years now but used it mainly to catch up on the world of Rugby and no crafty business.
However I have even neglected that for many many months now.
Following in my footsteps if renaming myself to Wool Diaries everywhere I have an online persona, I renamed my twitter account, removed all the rugby followings and followers.
But now I feel like I'm communicating with myself and that's not fun!!
If you are on Twitter please leave your twitter name in the comments below so I can follow you!

Granny Kerchief
I have been making loads of these as we are heading into winter. I have been asked to make a pattern. Example of my kerchief
I have used double knit and used a size 4mm and a size 6mm hook, it just depends on the drape you want, the looser the drape then I recommend the larger hook. But after four rows you will be able to tell if you are happy with the look and feel of your kerchief
Yarn: Any yarn will work
Hook: Recommended for yarn you choose
Gauge: Not important
dc = Double Crochet
Row 1
Chain 3.
2dc into the 1st chain
Turn.
Row 2
Chain 3.
2dc into the same place as the chain.
3dc into the 3rd chain from previous row.
Turn.
Row 3
Chain 3.
2dc into the same place as the chain.
3dc into the space between the groups from previous row.
3dc into the 3rd chain from previous row.
Turn.
Repeat row 3 until the kerchief or shawl is the size you would like.
I have made this many many times, however please let me know if there is anything that I have left out. I will attempt to update this with pictures.

To Sell or Not to Sell
I have no reason for not blogging, I just haven't. I have been reading all the wonderful blogs that you have been writing and it has kept my inspiration up!
I am seriously thinking about opening an online shop either on my own site or via etsy, which seems to be a good place to start.
I am currently taking orders but it's purely by word of mouth which is good for the odd few bucks but I would like a steady stream. What is bothering me is what I should offer and then making them all so I have a stock! I am very good a custom orders, so I want a beanie that is green with pink stripes! Fabulous off I go get the yarn and knit it up in a day. But not so good at figuring out what the market wants and what there are already too many of in the market. Make sense!
I haved also recently rejoined the world of Instagram and am loving it way more than Twitter or Facebook. Sorry I am very over Facebook and am seriously thinking about getting rid of my account. Twitter well I only check it once in a blue moon if I accidentally open it on my phone!
The cool thing about Instagram is that you get a shot of the some of the most creative people and what they are busy working on instantly. Quick and in picture form.
I have loads of pictures to show you as I haven't been here.
This is my latest creation is a cowl using the Amazing yarn I purchased from A Stash Addict. Truly Amazing and so wonderful to work with. Defitinely purchasing lots more of this
