IT'S THE WEEKEND BABY!!
GREEN & GOLD FRIDAY. Our Springbok Rugby squad left last night. GOOD LUCK BOYS. Bring back that trophy it belongs here.
Anyway now I have that out my system.
I only have the Ice Cream blanket to show you and not amazing pictures as they were on the phone that fell into my coffee!
I have to admit, it became really mindless and a little boring to do, so not 100% sure I can make one for my niece who wants it to fit her queen size bed. Kinda like the ripple better. But very glad and happy that I have made one of these.
Alright you crazy crafters off you go and check out more spectacular FO Fridays at Tami Ami's.
It looks cute, and Ice Cream is definitely the right name for it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your compliment on my glasses *grins* I used to switch regularly but I love these ones (although I could do with a new pair, they're getting a bit scratched!)
I love the blanket! I have an impossible time making any pattern a second time (I get bored!), so I completely understand why you wouldn't want to make it again 0 but it'd be worth it if you did!
ReplyDeleteI love this blanket it looks so happy!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. what, you don't want to commit to endless hours, days, weeks, months, to knitting a large one?
ReplyDeleteGo Bokkies! I just wish the games weren't at such ridiculous hours over here. 4am starts?
ReplyDeleteI like the baby blanket lots :) and am sorry to disappoint you, but that Cup is *OURS* ! LOL
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing the blanket! It's lovely, but I wouldn't want to make a queen-size one, either! Can't wait to see amazing pictures once the phone gets fixed. =)
ReplyDeleteThat's actually a very nice picture for a phone that got dropped into coffee! I like the blanket. :)
ReplyDeleteah lovely blanket, that is one happy blanket x
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous you finished yours! Funny enough, I call mine the ice cream blanket as well! LOL It looks great.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!!! I love the colors - it looks so snuggly!
ReplyDeleteI am flying to NZ to see the Canada vs NZ game on Oct 2. I am more than a little excited!! (Although I am a little jealous that you cheer for a team that actually has a chance of winning). Still... Go Canada Go!
ReplyDeleteLove the blanket. It totally reminds me of ice cream : )
Love the colors. You should definitely make a pattern you love if it is going to be queen sized!
ReplyDeleteThe ice cream colors are so cute and fun! Great job!
ReplyDeleteWow, your phone fell in your coffee and survived? Good phone!
ReplyDeleteThe blanket is beautiful! I agree the queen-size bedspread sounds like a daunting task :)
I love the colours of your blanket!
ReplyDeleteThe blanket looks great, but I think it would be hard work to make a giant one
