I am loving stash busting and knowing that at the end of the school year I won't have a mad rush to buy teachers presents and land up spending way more than I wanted to. I am sure I will get one more done this week before the Ravellenic Games start on Friday and hopefully another 200g stash busted.

ReplyDeleteWow! You're on a roll! I am such a fan of shawls/wraps, and I love seeing the variety of shapes, colors and textures you've been working with. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI wish i was as far with my Christmas knitting as you are with your teacher gifts!
ReplyDeleteGreat job so far! I'm planning to be in the Ravellenic Games, too!
ReplyDeleteWonderful...I'm not involved with the games..but will follow all you guys..
ReplyDeleteWow, you're so fast! Great job pre-planning... I'm not at the point of giving knitted gifts to anyone but my nearest and dearest, mostly because I'm so slow; your scarves look lovely and will surely be the best teacher gifts received (I say this as a teacher, and the daughter, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter of teachers... we have closets full of really useless ceramic knickknacks picked out by otherwise lovely students and parents).
ReplyDeleteWOW - you are really flying through! Great job (love them all but that first one SPEAKS to me!)
ReplyDeleteGreat progress! A handmade shawl is an absolutely fantastic teacher's gift - lucky teachers! And so much nicer than anything you'd rush out to buy. It also shows a great deal of thoughtfulness; not just that you think they're knit-worthy, but also that you invested your time and skills. They're sure to be thrilled!
